The special collections libraries house materials from the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, the Walter J. Brown Media Archives and the Peabody Awards Collection, and the Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies.

The special collections libraries are housed in the Richard B. Russell Building.

One of the special collections of the UGA Libraries, located in the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries. The formal name is the Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection, but the “Walter J.” may be omitted in all but the most formal contexts.
