No apostrophe in the name of this auditorium in the Center for Continuing Education & Hotel; it is named for Hugh B. Masters. It is the smaller auditorium in the center; the larger is Mahler Auditorium. It is the tiered auditorium; the larger hall at the center is Mahler Hall.
Matthews Public Service Complex
Full, formal name is the R. Chappelle Matthews Public Service Complex. For internal audiences, Matthews Public Services Complex is acceptable on first reference. The complex includes the Center for Continuing Education & Hotel, Treanor House, the Hoke Smith Building, Hoke Smith Annex and the J.W. Fanning Building.
