One of four apartment-style residence halls in East Campus Village, S. Ernest Vandiver Jr. Hall is named for the late UGA alumnus who served as governor of Georgia from 1959 to 1963.

Vandiver, who earned business and law degrees from UGA,  died in 2005.

Vandiver Hall is acceptable on all references.
