Enterprise Information Technology Services
EITS is responsible for operation and support of UGA’s major shared institutional computing and data communications facilities. The information technology community uses “enterprise” as an adjective to refer to an entire institution or organization, as opposed to one constituent unit. Thus the office whose mission is “enterprise” IT services is responsible for the whole university, rather than IT services within one college, school or department.
