The Creative Research Award given by the UGA Research Foundation in recognition of faculty research in the sciences.

The formal name is the Walter Barnard Hill Award for Distinguished Achievement in Public Service and Outreach, but “Walter” and “Barnard” may be omitted even on first reference.

Presented annually, the Hill Award recognizes faculty members and service professionals for their outstanding contributions to the improvement of the quality of life in Georgia or elsewhere.
